How do I get access to Distill?
Distill is invitation only right now. You can request an invitationwith your firm name and work email. We read every request and reply personally. When you're approved, we email you an access code.
I have an access code. Where do I use it?
Create your Paperwork ID (or sign inif you already have one). The next screen asks for your firm's name and your code. Each code works once, for one firm.
I forgot my password.
Reset it here. We email a secure link to the address on your Paperwork ID. If the email doesn't arrive in a few minutes, check your spam folder, then write to us.
My CPA sent me a link to upload documents. It doesn't open.
Those links are private to you and your CPA's firm, and they expire. We don't keep a copy of your link, so we can't reopen it for you. Ask your CPA to send a new one.
Who can see the documents I upload?
The firm that asked for them. Distill is practice software: your CPA is your CPA, and their advice and filings are their own professional work. The details are in our privacy policy.
How do I ask about, correct, or delete my data?
Email privacy@distill.tax. We confirm your request within 2 business days and complete it within 30 days.
